The Sauti Yetu Programme
(Sauti Yetu means "Our Voice" in Kiswahili)
The Sauti Yetu Programme is Auron Nexora Ltd’s flagship community empowerment initiative designed to equip women and girls across Kenya with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to participate fully in economic and civic life. Operating across Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, and Nakuru counties, the programme focuses on three core pillars: communication skills, economic empowerment, and community leadership.
A Story From the Ground
In Kisumu’s Manyatta estate, a young woman named Adhiambo joined the Sauti Yetu communication workshop with little confidence in her own voice. Three months later, she stood before her community’s youth forum and delivered a presentation on women’s land rights that moved the room to silence, then to applause. Today, Adhiambo coordinates a women’s group of 40 members in her neighbourhood, advocating for economic inclusion and access to education for girls. For us at Auron Nexora Ltd, Adhiambo’s story is not an exception; it is the standard we work toward every day.
